ComAp InteliDrive DCU Marine Engine Control Module

ComAp’s InteliDrive DCU Marine is a marine certified engine controller designed specifically to meet the demanding needs of the marine market and provides a high level of performance with extensive communication capabilities. This controller is suitable for auxiliary, emergency and harbour solutions with hardwired safety functions. Subject to the generating set specification/installation the InteliDrive DCU is able to monitor and manage the following parameters:

• Engine control, monitoring and protection.
• 14 binary inputs and outputs, 8 analog inputs.
• RS232/Modem/Modbus/Internet communication.
• Redundant module ID-RPU with hardwired safety functions activated in backup mode.
• Automatic switchover to backup mode in case of detection of main unit failure.
• Internal – configurable PLC functions.
• Graphical screen with icons and bar graphs.
• Event and time driven history record for backtracking.
• Marine certified extension modules for expandable number of Inputs/Outputs (connected via CAN bus).
• Slave panels for remote control available.
• Inputs/Outputs configuration.
• Configurable list of values that are read from J1939 bus.
• Support of redundant J1587 communication bus.
• Direct speed/load control via J1939 or J1587 buses.
• Diagnostic information from J1939 or J1587 displayed in plain intelligible text.

ComAp InteliGen^NT Marine Generator Control Module

The ComAp power management system available via both InteliDrive DCU Marine Engine Control & InteliGen^NT Marine Generator Control Modules provide, fully automatic operation of multiple generators including load dependant start and stop, power bands, running hour equalisation, automatic synchronisation and load-sharing. Subject to the generating sets specifications/installations the combined InteliDrive DCU Marine Engine & InteliGen^NT Marine Generator Control Modules are able to monitor and manage the following parameters:

• Marine certified generating set control for single or multiple generating sets operating in standby or parallel modes.
• Support for engines with ECU (Electronic Control Unit).
• Multiple communication options for easy remote supervising and servicing.
• Generating set performance log for easy problem tracing.
• Automatic synchronising and power control via speed governor or ECU.
• AMF function, Baseload, Import/Export, Peak shaving, Voltage and PF control (AVR).
• Generator measurement.

ComAp InteliVision 17Touch Marine Display Unit

The InteliVision 17Touch is a seventeen-inch remote touchscreen display unit for use with ComAp generating set controllers. It features an extended operating temperature range and UL certification for use in complex installations. Optimised for ease of use, installation and configuration, facilitates the monitoring and control of multiple ComAp controllers from a single screen, with the option of directly controlling generating sets or all GCBs and MCBs.

SCADA software enables users to freely configure the screen with different on-screen components, such as meters, graphs and control buttons. Users are able to check the history of multiple controllers and change setpoints from one screen. Complimentary IGS-LOG software preinstalled. The InteliVision 17Touch is designed to mount into a panel in a power distribution centre or mount onto a wall using the VESA standard mount (optional). Communication is available via standard interfaces such as RS232, Ethernet and USB.

The display unit is supplied loose, the required “what” custom lengths of interconnection cable/s are not included but are available at additional cost.

EPM72 Key Switch Start & Stop Protection Module

Standard for generating sets specified with electrical insulated return engine starting. The control modules engine heat, start and stop functions are operated by a manual key switch and has micro-processor based engine monitoring and alarms with protection. LED indication for DC on, low engine lubricating oil pressure*, high water coolant temperature*, over speed and starter battery no charge. It is supplied complete with a separate hours run meter.

*Automatic shutdown protection on fault function

This module is for local use only and cannot be interfaced with a secondary remote lamp start module. The module is supplied loose with a 3m interconnection cable included, “custom” lengths of interconnection cable are available at additional cost.
