Heat Exchanger Saildrive Short Voyage Spares Kit

Comprises of 2 x oil filters, 1 x fuel filter, 1 x air filter, 1 x impellor, 2 x O-rings, 1 x alternator belt and 1 x 40 Amp blade fuse supplied in a plastic storage box.

Note: Components will differ, dependent upon engine model and specification.

Remote Bulk Head Mounted Oil Filter Kit

Factory fitted and comprising of an engine oil filter sandwich adapter plate, 75cm feed pipe, bulk head mounted filter bracket and 75cm return pipe all connected.

Note: If the feed and return pipe are removed for installation purposes it is essential that they are reconnected correctly to ensure the oil flow circuit is maintained.

GRP Base Moulding

Complete with stainless steel ring and all fixings required for fitting an engine with a SeaProp 60 leg into the vessels hull.

NB: This option must be used when replacing a Bukh saildrive.

SeaProp 60 Seawater Pump Strainer Kit

Includes strainer, 4m hose, shut off valve and 8 clips (not shown). The strainer is connected via the supplied pipe and fittings and needs to be installed in between the SeaProp 60 sea water inlet valve and the engine sea water cooling pump.

Water Sensor

Water sensor for SeaProp 60 rubber diaphragm. Connect the water sensor (normally opened contact 12/24V DC) to an audible or visual (or both) alarm. Audible/visual alarm not included.

Wet Exhaust Kit

Comprising of 3m exhaust hose, skin fitting and stainless steel clips (gooseneck is not included).

Antisiphon Kit

Complete with air vent, 2m of hose and clips.

An antisiphon kit must be used to stop cooling water entering the engine if the point where the cooling water is injected into the exhaust is less than 15cm above the waterline when heeling. In this case the valve should be fitted at least 40cm above the waterline.

Fuel Supply Kit

Diesel Fuel Water Separator

Diesel fuel filter water separator complete with brass compression fittings and keyed removable water drain plug.

Supplied loose and should be fitted in all installations.

Recommended to be drained monthly.

Fuel Lift Pump

A mechanical fuel lift pump is supplied as standard with all Beta Marine engines. However if a suction head of 0.25m or more is required, then an electric fuel lift pump must be installed in series. Our Electric Fuel Lift Pump is supplied complete with both a pair of brass end compression fittings and a pair of brass fir tree fittings.

Optional for all heat exchanger saildrive engines.

The image below highlights the position of the standard engine mechanical fuel pump. The electrical fuel lift pump should it be required can be added into the fuel delivery pipe at any convenient point before it reaches the standard engine mechanical fuel pump.

Feed and return marine fuel hoses for removing the fitted engine fuel filter and remote mounting.

2 x 1m marine grade fuel pipes and 4 x clips.

Sound Deadening Insulation Panel

High quality flexible and trimmable 38mm flame retardant acoustic foam panel for the engine bay, specification includes a 4mm polymeric acoustic barrier and metallised surface finish to prevent oil absorption. Always secure with a high temperature silicon adhesive.

Single Lever Control

Starter Battery Cables

Colour coded starter battery cables with 25mm2 conductor cross sectional area. Protected negative and positive battery clamps and secure connection bolt eyelets.

100 Amp Battery Isolating Switch

For opening or closing the starter battery circuit has a removable key with protective cap and 2 predrilled holes for panel / battery box mounting.

Volt Sensitive Relay

Voltage sensitive relay for a 12 volt engine starter battery and domestic battery bank. The relay measures the starter battery voltage and at 13.3 volts (fully charged) opens it contacts to divert the charging voltage from the starter battery to the domestic battery bank. Should the starter battery voltage drop below 12.8 volts the relay will close its contacts to allow the starter battery to be recharged ahead of the domestic battery bank.
